Seasoned Firewood
Enjoying a fire is much like enjoying a fine wine. Motz Turf Farm selects the most desirable firewood with the best heat value, aroma and burn characteristics. We store it under cover to protect it from rain and snow so you can enjoy it the same day you pick it up.
Our standard log is 16 inches in length, which fits most conventional fireplaces. We encourage you to stack us up against the competition – we guarantee we will measure up in quality, quantity and service.
Motz Turf Farms supplies only the finest seasoned firewood, including hickory, oak, maple, cherry, black walnut and other species that create long-lasting fires. Normally, seasoned wood will not smoke heavily, pop or throw sparks. Some wood connoisseurs insist they can detect distinct aromas from the wood of different fruit and nut trees. We invite you to find out for yourself.
We sell firewood by the cord and fractional cord. When stacked, a standard cord measures 128 cubic feet (four feet high, four feet wide and eight feet long).
Below are the 2025 prices for our firewood. Please note:
- The following sizes are only available for pickup at our office on Clough Pike (we cannot deliver): 1/24th cord and 1/12th cord.
- Prices do not include sales tax.
- Delivery rates listed are the minimum delivery fees. The delivery price may change based on the distance we have to drive to deliver.

It’s best to store firewood off the ground, covered and away from moisture. When stored this way, it will continue to season and reduce attracting bugs and pests.
